Flutter’s US division, led by FanDuel, remains the group’s main growth engine. The brand generated $1.8 billion in total revenue for Q2, with sportsbook revenue rising 11% to $1.2 billion and iGaming revenue jumping 42% to $507 million. This growth is particularly notable given the limited number of states offering legal online casino play.
Internationally, the picture is more complex. In the UK and Ireland, revenue rose just 1% to $936 million, and actually declined 5% on a constant currency basis. However, Southern Europe and Africa posted 68% year-on-year growth, reaching $657 million, while Brazil delivered a standout 144% increase to $44 million.
Asia Pacific rose 4% to $402 million, and Central and Eastern Europe grew 8% to $138 million.

CEO Peter Jackson struck a confident tone in his quarterly remarks, noting several strategic wins:
“Revenue grew by 16% year-on-year, as we continue to build scale positions in the most attractive markets through strong organic growth and value-creating M&A.”
In the US, Flutter completed its acquisition of the remaining 5% stake in FanDuel from Boyd Gaming, giving it 100% ownership. It also became the largest operator in Italy through the addition of Snai and established a scale position in Brazil via NSX.
Jackson also commented on the emerging event contracts and predictions market, pointing to Betfair Exchange’s two-decade experience as a foundation for potential future participation. He emphasised the importance of regulatory clarity before expanding into this space.
US market share and financial forecasts FanDuel retains sportsbook leadership while adjusting revenue guidance.
Jackson confirmed that FanDuel continues to lead the US market, with:
41% sportsbook GGR market share 44% net gaming revenue share 27% iGaming GGR market share While Flutter had previously forecast $7.47–$7.97 billion in US revenue for the full year, that figure has been revised slightly to $7.19–$7.69 billion, reflecting shifting dynamics and cautious optimism. US adjusted EBITDA guidance also dipped, moving to $1.1–$1.34 billion.
However, updated Q2 guidance has now lifted both metrics, with US revenue projected at $7.58 billion and adjusted EBITDA at $1.26 billion. International guidance remains unchanged.
Flutter vs competitors: Online dominance despite land-based giants Only MGM tops Flutter in total revenue, but Flutter leads online.
Among selected competitors, MGM reported $4.4 billion in Q2 revenue, outperforming Flutter, but that figure includes extensive land-based casino operations. In contrast, Flutter’s strength lies in its digital-first model, with brands like FanDuel, Betfair, PokerStars, and Snai.
With Las Vegas Sands, Caesars, and Penn Entertainment also in the mix, Flutter remains a dominant online force. Smaller rivals like FDJ United and Super Group still lag far behind, highlighting the scale and reach of Flutter’s global operations.
